PRAYING THE ROSARY

Praying the Rosary is a daily spiritual staple for many Catholics. This link provides information on the various mysteries - complete with videos and more - as well as a printer friendly resource (explore the PDF document offered in the sidebar) to assist anyone with a desire to learn how to pray the Rosary. This is a Spirit-filled teaching tool for catechists, their students, and/or anyone desiring guidance on the Rosary.

The traditional Rosary is divided into three parts, with each having five mysteries: Glorious, Joyful and Sorrowful. In his apostolic letter The Rosary of the Virgin Mary, Pope John Paul II proposed a new set of mysteries which focus on the public life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These are referred to as Luminous mysteries.

For those who wish to say all 20 decades at once during the course of a day, they may be said in the following order:
