EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us."
During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait," as we remain silent in His Presence while opening ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist. By spending some quiet time with our Lord, we allow a transformation to take place, as Jesus draws us to Himself.

ALL THINGS ROSARY
The rosary probably began as a practice by the laity to imitate the monastic Divine Office (Breviary or Liturgy of the Hours), during the course of which the monks daily prayed the 150 Psalms. The laity, many of whom could not read, substituted 50, or even 150, Ave Marias (Hail Marys) for the Psalms. This prayer, at least the first half of it so directly biblically, seems to date from as early as the 2nd century, as ancient graffiti at Christian sites has suggested. Sometimes, a cord with knots on it was used to keep an accurate count of the Aves. To read more, click HERE.

WHAT'S A NOVENA?
A novena is a nine-day period of private or public prayer to obtain special graces, to implore special favors, or to make special petitions. Novena is derived from the Latin "novem," meaning nine. As the definition suggests, the novena has always had more of a sense of urgency and neediness. For more info, please click HERE.
