ORDER OF THE CATHOLIC MASS

While lifelong or long time Catholics should know exactly what to expect, attending a Catholic Mass can be overwhelming for a visitor or newcomer. They don't know the prayers, when to sit, stand or kneel, or the responses we offer- just to name a few things.

It is our duty to recognize visitors in our churches and to assist them at Mass. Doing so can only make them feel welcome in "my Church" and encourage them to return and, hopefully, join one of our parishes!

Every one of us is called by Jesus Christ to evangelize - it's Job Number One as a Catholic- and doing so inside our Church speaks volumes to the newcomer coming from outside our Church as they seek a new Spiritual Home.
