We are all sick and in need of a Savior. Some who walk among us have acquired illnesses, whether it be physical, emotional, psychological and/or spiritual in nature, and are in need of prayer from our Faith Community. If you'd like to list a name on this webpage, we'll be starting out with a few different categories. Jesus knows who we're praying for and what the issue is way better than we ever will, so full names aren't required. To avoid any legal issues and/or privacy invasions, we'll list first names only and what the prayer is for, if listed (cancer / operation coming up / marriage difficulties / etc).

Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

THE BOOK OF JAMES 5:13-15
 

Anointing of the Sick. Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint [him] with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.
